Overview

This workshop demystifies the development process so engineers can understand:  

• How technical decisions are made
• The consensus nature of standards committees
• How updates, revisions, and new standards evolve
• This workshop is designed to raise awareness of standards and inspire the next generation of professionals to engage with the world of standardisation.

This is an interactive workshop and not recorded. Individuals will be involved in breakout groups and discussions. Cameras will be required to be on.  

Who should attend?

This introductory 2.5 hour workshop is designed for anyone with an interest in learning about standards, regardless of background or career stage. It’s ideal for those new to the topic and offers a clear overview of what standards are, why they’re important, and how they’re developed.
