Circular Economy management system: collaborate on the new ISO standard

April 23, 2026 - April 23, 2026

Do you want to shape the document that will help organisations enhance their circularity performance?

Join the free webinar on Thursday, April 23, and discover how you can influence the new ISO standard.

Did you know that ISO develops global standards for the circular economy? The Circular Economy committee (ISO/TC 323) has already published several standards that support organizations, regardless of their size or sector.

This year, ISO/TC 323 is launching the development of a new certifiable management system standard on circular economy – the future ISO 59001. The intended standard will support organisations in using a systemic approach to contribute to the maintenance of a circular flow of resources in society by recovering, retaining or adding to their value, while contributing to sustainable development.

We are also contributing to this in Belgium! The national committee NBN/I323 brings together experts from various sectors to contribute to the ISO circular economy standards, including this new standard. The good news? You can participate!

What topics will we discuss during the webinar?

  • What are (management system) standards and why are they important?
  • How are ISO standards created and who contributes to them?
  • How can you influence the content of the new ISO 59001?
  • What are the benefits for you as a member of the Belgian committee?
