About Mrkšić's farms: Agriculture is the primary activity. The entire production is carried out on an area of approximately 7000 hectares. In addition, the cooperative owns:

 

• Silo: The current capacity of the silo is 35,000 tons, with a laboratory for checking the basic quality parameters of agricultural products.
• Gas Station: For public and internal needs, with a capacity of 200,000 liters of diesel fuel and 30,000 liters of gasoline, at 12 dispensing points.
• Slaughterhouse: The slaughter capacity is 70 pigs and 5 cattle per shift, with a processing output of 6 tons per day. All work phases are automated. The assortment of the slaughterhouse includes fresh meat of all categories and semi-durable meat products.
• Bakery: The capacity is 2000 bread units per hour, and pastries from 2000 to 4000 pieces per hour.
• Retail: The cooperative currently owns 11 retail outlets, primarily butcher shops.
• Restaurant: It can accommodate 112 guests, with a business hall capacity of up to 90 seats. Accommodation includes 2 apartments and 9 rooms. This facility also includes M studio – a beauty salon.
• Transport: The cooperative owns 16 specialized delivery vehicles for transporting bakery products and 6 specialized refrigerated vehicles for transporting meat and meat products.

 

About the Management Systems (Quality) Implemented by Mrkšićevi Salaši:

The cooperative certified the ISO 22000:2005 standard and HACCP for the bakery, slaughterhouse, silo, retail, and restaurant in 2015. The ISO 9001:2008 standard was also certified for agriculture and the gas station. The certification was performed by TÜV SÜD AG and TMS CEE.
