The Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization (AIDSMO, sometimes also abbreviated as AIDMO) is a specialized agency operating under the League of Arab States. AIDSMO's primary mission is to foster cooperation and integration among Arab nations in the fields of industry, standardization, and mining. This involves the coordination of policies and strategies to enhance industrial development and to establish common standards that ensure quality, efficiency, and safety of products and services across the region. By harmonizing regulations and promoting the adoption of international best practices, AIDSMO plays a pivotal role in facilitating intra-regional trade and boosting the global competitiveness of Arab industries.

In addition to its core activities, AIDSMO engages in significant capacity-building efforts, offering training programs, workshops, and seminars to member states. These initiatives are aimed at enhancing technical skills and knowledge related to industrial development, standardization processes, and resource management. AIDSMO collaborates with various international organizations to achieve its goals, including partnerships with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Through such collaborations, AIDMO ensures that its member countries are equipped to meet the challenges of modern industry and global markets.
