Kvalitet AD Niš is a joint-stock company for quality testing established in 1981. It is the first organization in Serbia accredited by the former Yugoslav Accreditation Body (JUAT), predecessor of the Accreditation Body of Serbia (ATS), for testing and certification of products.

Within the international IECEE CB scheme, Kvalitet AD Niš is the National Certification Body (NCB) for issuing and recognizing CB certificates and an accepted testing laboratory (CBTL).

Kvalitet AD Niš' laboratories are accredited by the Accreditation Body of Serbia, which is a signatory to the multilateral agreement on accreditation recognition with the European co-operation for Accreditation (EA), the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) Multilateral Recognition Arrangement (MLA), and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA). Reports issued by Kvalitet AD Niš are recognized in all countries whose accreditation bodies are signatories to these agreements, including all EU countries, and can serve as a basis for placing the CE mark on products.

Appointments:

Kvalitet AD Niš has been appointed by the competent ministries of the Republic of Serbia as the conformity assessment body for products in accordance with:

- Regulations on radio equipment and telecommunications terminal equipment (RiTTo)
- Regulations on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
- Regulations on electrical equipment intended for use within certain voltage limits (LVD)
- Regulations on machinery safety (MD)

The registration number of "Kvalitet" AD Niš as the appointed body is И005.

Management System Certification:
Kvalitet AD Niš is accredited for assessment and certification of the following management systems:
- Quality Management System (ISO 9001)
- Environmental Management System (ISO 14001)
- Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001)
- Quality Management System for Medical Devices (ISO 13485)
- Food Safety Management System (HACCP/ISO 22000)
- Information Security Management System (ISO 27001)

Non-Ionizing Radiation:
Authorized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, Kvalitet AD Niš performs systematic testing of non-ionizing radiation levels in the environment and from sources of special interest in the environment.
