Naftna industrija Srbije - NIS is a Serbian multinational oil and gas company headquartered in the NIS building, Novi Sad, Serbia.

The NIS Group is one of the largest vertically integrated energy systems in Southeastern Europe.

Main activities consist of research, production and oil and natural gas refining, sales and distribution of a wide assortment of petroleum products, as well as the realization of projects in the fields of petrochemistry and energetics. 

NIS a.d. Novi Sad has established and certified an integrated management system within which the following operate:

- Quality management system in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard

- Environmental management system in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 14001 standard

- Occupational health and safety management system in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 45001 standard

- Energy management system in accordance with the requirements of the EN ISO 50001 standard

- Asset management system in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 55001 standard, with the scope of application to technological equipment

- Food safety management system in accordance with the requirements of the EN ISO 22000 standard

- Road transport safety management system in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 39001 standard whose application successfully achieves the set goals.  

The ISO 9001 management system is based on additional specific requirements such as: CE marking for road and polymer-modified bitumens (ISO 14023, ISO 12591), Quality assurance in the production, storage and distribution of aviation fuels (EI JIG 1530), Certificate for sustainability of biofuels in accordance with the ISCC EU standard, with the status of "Trader with storage", accreditation of the Calibration Laboratory (ISO 17025), accreditation of the inspection body type C (ISO 17020).

All activities in the Company are carried out with an effort to understand the needs and meet the expectations of stakeholders, while respecting regulations and in accordance with the highest business standards and market requirements.
