Zambia Bureau of Standards (ZABS)

The Zambia Bureau of Standards (ZABS) is Zambia’s national standards organization, responsible for developing and promoting standards to ensure quality, safety, and interoperability across various sectors. Established in 1982, ZABS operates under the Ministry of Commerce, Trade, and Industry. Its mission includes formulating national standards, coordinating with international bodies, and promoting best practices to support industry, public welfare, and environmental sustainability in Zambia.
