Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS)

The Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) is Kenya’s national standards organization, responsible for developing and promoting standards to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency across various sectors. Established in 1974, KEBS operates under the Ministry of Industrialization, Trade, and Enterprise Development. Its mission is to formulate national standards, oversee conformity assessment, and promote best practices to enhance industrial development, public welfare, and environmental sustainability in Kenya.
