Finnish Standards Association (SFS)

The Finnish Standards Association (SFS) is Finland's national standards organization, responsible for developing and promoting standards to ensure quality, safety, and interoperability across various sectors. Established in 1921, SFS operates as a non-profit organization under the supervision of the Finnish Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment. Its mission includes formulating national standards, coordinating with international bodies, and fostering the adoption of best practices to support industry, public welfare, and environmental sustainability in Finland.

SFS collaborates closely with national and international organizations to align Finnish standards with global best practices.
