ILNAS is organizing an information session on environmental management and technical standardization.

On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, ILNAS will organize an information session entitled “ Environmental management and technical standardization ,” aiming to offer a holistic perspective on environmental challenges and their legal framework, as well as developments in standardization that meet associated needs. 

Sustainable development in general, and environmental protection in particular, attracts the attention of various stakeholders, including legislators, public authorities, the private sector, and citizens. Addressing environmental challenges, such as climate change and significant greenhouse gas emissions, has become a priority for the European and international communities.

Technical standardization is essential to support organizations in their environmental protection efforts, including providing effective environmental management systems and tools.

In this context, this awareness session will provide an overview of environmental issues and the legal framework in the environmental field, and present relevant supporting technical standardization activities.
